I was born in Bettws, Bridgend and remained in the Bridgend area all my life. I have no formal training but I have always sketched in pencil as a pastime. 

I had always been drawn to watercolour and in 2019 after brain surgery I took up the medium through books and videos as a way of self therapy and relaxation. 

As a self taught painter I feel I continue to learn and grow with this unpredictable wonderful medium watercolour.
