I came to painting later in life, discovering a passion for it at the age of 40. After learning to paint in watercolour, I enrolled at Swansea College of Art in 2014, where I went on to complete a Master's degree. I am now continuing my studies as a PhD researcher in Fine Art at York St John University.
I sculpt in steel and create kinetic sculptures but watercolour painting is what I always come back to. I have exhibited nationally and internationally since graduation in 2017 and been selected for many open call exhibitions and won awards for my art.
I am a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy and am represented by several galleries in Wales and England.
I love to paint everything in watercolour, from landscapes, to people, to still life and always enjoy making the paint flood down the paper, making a mess that I can pull a painting out of.
